Scientists at Purdue University have devised a simulator that can give an idea about the effect of strong magnetic fields of the power of about 7 Tesla, on human breast tissue of varying densities. The regular MRI machines in hospitals generate magnetic fields of about 3 Tesla as high resonance magnetic fields could lead to excessive heating and permanent hampering of tissues.
