Suki, a California-based, health-tech startup founded by former Flipkart executive in 2017 is said to have raised a new round of capital of $15 million, A series funding by Venrock. The fund will be used to expand its Voice Assistant for clinicians. The voice-operated digital assistant aims to reduce time wasted on medical papers by 60%. Earlier, Venrock seeded $5 million in Suki which makes a total amount of $ 20 million investment.
The Device is created to replace the old style of transcription of notes and to recover patients’ details. “I figured out that the main struggles of doctors in any office are writing and documentation. So to make it easier we decided to design a way for doctors to simply start talking aloud to take notes when working with patients rather than putting everything in medical records system” said Punit Sign Soni – founder of Suki. The startup’s primary focus is to reduce the amount of time doctors must spend on documentation.
Previously called Robin Ai, Suki’s innovative healthcare software aims to have a huge impact on the way data collection works and will help doctors where they need it most.
