Syringe pumps or syringe drivers are used in palliative care for continuously delivering a specific amount of IV medications or painkillers via subcutaneous route, at specific time intervals. These syringe pumps can reduce errors and save staff time.
There are varied types of syringe pumps such as single channel, dual channel, multichannel, veterinary, micro syringe pump and portable electric syringe pump. To view the infusion status easily, large LCD screen was attached.
The dual channel syringe pump can be operated separately and compatible with 5ml, 10ml, 20ml, 30ml, a 50/60ml syringe of any brands; whereas in a single channel, it was not operated separately. The portable electric syringe pump was specifically used for Neonatal, Child, Adult in ICU/CCU/OR in Neurosurgery. The more specialized microsyringe pump is equipped with additional functions such as power supply switching function, repeat alarm function, data memory function, battery protection alarm, Keep-Vein-Open (KVO) and high flow safety confirm. They possess unique direct pressure sensor, dynamic pressure value, rotatable fixation clamp and 3-level occlusion sensitivities setting with a particular built-in sliding potentiometer for the right accuracy and calibration.
Varied specifications such as syringe size, minimum and maximum discharge flow rate, reproducibility, accuracy, weight, number of pumps per assembly, physical dimensions and power sources should be taken into consideration before buying the right product. Our Ddu (Drugdu.com) team has collaborated with ISO 9001 certified syringe pump manufacturers such as RAPID MEDI AID SYSTEMS[INDIA], AKTIMED PLUS, LLC, COMEN MEDICAL, EAST MEDICAL, Mackwoods Healthcare etc., by taking all the above factors into consideration.
