The 17th Indian Premier B2B Medical Equipment Show (Medicall) was successfully held in Chennai, the fourth largest city in India, from 28 July to 30 July 2017. Ddu, the leading global pharmaceutical and medical device B2B online platform, was invited to participate in the exhibition and focused on showcasing its new promotion method for the cross-border medical trade to India.

Old friends gathering at India Medicall

The friendly relationship between Ddu and India can be traced back to India CPhi, last November, when Ddu was well-received and the number of registration reached new heights in just three days.

This time, at India Medicall, Ddu met with old friend, Ramesh Sajja of the Indian Aurobindo  pharmaceutical company. Mr Sajja was introduced to Ddu for the first time at the India CPhi Expo 2016 and has since acquainted himself with over 20 new potential clients.

Ddu also attracted new friends. This year, Ddu was once again very popular and visitors flocked to the Ddu booth for consultation. Rahul Malik, founder of Skica Pharma, registered immediately on Ddu after a consultation and eagerly introduced the serivice to his clients.

New Changes: Data matching

Ddu paid more attention to business matching at the India Medicall than it has done at previous exhibitions. Ddu has launched a data matching system to filter top suppliers and provide online services to the whole industry chain such as back-end registration agents, clinical sales, factory and product inspections, translations and logistics.

With extensive knowledge of the medical trade, Ddu staff was able to recommend suitable suppliers to buyers and match businesses offline by analyzing the demands of buyers from a professional perspective.

J.M.Hanee, a new Ddu client, was interested in finding nonwoven products for the production of syringes for a Turkish project. “Wenzhou Hairou has everything we are looking for and we are looking forward to our further collaborations with them! ”, he said.

Guangzhou Huijie Co. Ltd, another Ddu client, also walked away with great satisfaction as they were able to discover exactly what they needed in regards to biochemical instrument lights from Matrix labs.

Next stop: AACC in San Diego, USA

Ddu is going to attend the AACC expoin San Diego, USA—the most important exhibition for medical devices in the field of clinical testing.

The exhibition is expected to bring together more than 750 industry exhibitors, attracting more than 20,000 professional visitors, of which 80% are decision-makers. 

Ddu, as the leading global pharmaceutical and medical device B2B online platform, will be attending the AACC expo at booth no. 5701. They will be showcasing the products of high priority members in order to expand the market in the United States for their users.
