From October 6–8, Drugdu.com attended CPHI Milan 2026, meeting with overseas buyers, pharmaceutical companies, and industry partners at Booth 20C65.
For Drugdu.com, this was more than simply another overseas exhibition.
Every day, product searches, supplier discovery, inquiries, sourcing requests, and overseas promotion all happen online. At the exhibition, those activities became much more tangible.
Some visitors were looking for specific products and suppliers. Others wanted to explore new business channels, while some companies sat down with us to discuss overseas markets and promotion plans.
After three days in Milan, the most important question for us was not how many people visited the booth.
It was:
What did we actually bring back from Milan?
From Online Data to Real Conversations
One interaction at the exhibition stood out to our team.
A visitor from Costa Rica came to the Drugdu.com booth and mentioned that he regularly uses Drugdu.com to search for industry information. He also told us that he finds the platform very useful.
It was only one small moment among many conversations during the exhibition, but for a platform that works mainly online, this kind of direct feedback is valuable.
In our daily operations, we can see what users search for, which products they browse, which categories attract attention, and what sourcing requests are being submitted.
But data can only tell us part of the story.
Face-to-face conversations give us more context.
Why is a buyer looking for a particular product? What information do they still need before evaluating a supplier? What kind of company profile makes sourcing decisions easier? Which parts of the platform are genuinely useful in their daily work?
These conversations help us better understand how overseas users actually use Drugdu.com.
Suppliers were also asking more specific questions.
Instead of simply asking, “Are there overseas buyers on the platform?”, they wanted to know which markets they should focus on, what overseas buyers look for when evaluating products, how to maintain visibility after an exhibition, and what kind of practical feedback online promotion can provide.
One of the reasons we attend overseas exhibitions is to bring these real questions and observations back with us.
What We Brought Back Also Needs to Keep Moving Forward
Pharma B2B rarely reaches a result after a single meeting.
Once a buyer finds an interesting product, there may still be questions around specifications, quality standards, certifications, supply capacity, quotations, and samples.
For suppliers, meeting a potential buyer is also only the beginning. They still need to understand the buyer’s sourcing background, target market, and project stage.
That means many conversations at the booth are simply the starting point.
The sourcing needs, product information, overseas promotion requests, and cooperation discussions generated in Milan still need to be organized and followed up.
Product searches that were not completed onsite can continue on Drugdu.com. Buyers with clear sourcing needs can publish RFQs and connect with more suppliers. Companies looking to expand internationally can continue improving their company and product information, extending an offline meeting into ongoing online visibility and communication.
2026 also marks the 10th anniversary of Drugdu.com.
We brought our ongoing “100 Companies Overseas Promotion Assessment” campaign to Milan as well.
For pharmaceutical and medical device companies looking to test overseas promotion, the program provides a one-month promotion period. During that time, we monitor product exposure and market feedback, and then provide a stage-based review with further promotion recommendations.
This reflects the same approach we brought to Milan.
Rather than simply telling companies that “there are opportunities overseas,” we prefer to put products into a real promotion environment and let actual market feedback help companies decide what to do next.
The Booth May Close, but the Information Does Not Disappear
After an overseas exhibition, it is easy for the process to stop once the photos are posted and the business cards are organized.
But in B2B, much of the real work starts after the exhibition.
Which sourcing requests should continue to be matched? Which companies still need to improve their product information? Which buyers are still looking for suitable suppliers? Which new connections need further follow-up?
None of these disappear when the exhibition ends.
After CPHI Milan, Drugdu.com will continue organizing the sourcing needs, user feedback, and cooperation opportunities collected during the event, and continue following up on sourcing, overseas promotion, and other business discussions.
The feedback we received onsite will also return to the platform itself.
How overseas users search for products, what information matters most when evaluating suppliers, and which parts of the sourcing process can be made easier — these real-world insights will continue to inform our platform, content, operations, and services.
We went from online to Milan, and now we are bringing what we learned in Milan back online.
That is what makes the journey complete.
What we brought back from Milan was more than business cards and photos.
It was real user feedback, sourcing needs that still need to move forward, and connections that are only beginning to develop.
CPHI Milan is over. The follow-up continues.
