On the morning of August 9, Vice President Wang Maochun and his delegation paid a working visit to the China Center for Assistive Devices for Persons with Disabilities, and had pragmatic exchanges with Kong Deming, Secretary of the Party Branch and Director of the Center, on the development of the assistive device industry and the participation of Chinese assistive device companies in international cooperation. Vice President Maochun briefly introduced the basic situation of the Medical Insurance Chamber of Commerce in helping domestic pharmaceutical companies to develop internationally over the years, and highly appreciated the contributions of the Assistive Devices Center in promoting the distribution of assistive device products and improving the level of technological research and development innovation. He said that the Medical Insurance Chamber of Commerce is willing to work with the Assistive Devices Center to further explore excellent assistive device products in subdivided fields, gather international cooperation resources from different countries and regions, and jointly help Chinese assistive device companies to participate more deeply in international pharmaceutical cooperation through various means such as import and export trade, localized production, and international public procurement.

Director Kong Deming first extended a warm welcome to Vice President Wang and his delegation and pointed out that the Assistive Devices Center is committed to continuously promoting the accessibility and affordability of assistive device products, so that more and better assistive device exhibits can meet the needs of patients in a safer, more effective, economical and comfortable way. He said that the Assistive Devices Center is willing to further deepen cooperation with the Medical Insurance Chamber of Commerce in the promotion of assistive device products and the participation of assistive device companies in international cooperation, and make more contributions to promoting the international development of Chinese assistive device companies.
