"/Recently, the National Audit Office released the audit dynamics "Convening a video conference on audit rectification work, conducting public health construction project audits..." It mentioned that the Audit Bureau of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, conducted an audit of public health construction projects at the municipal level.

The Audit Bureau of Wuhan City examines whether the construction projects comply with relevant plans, industrial and industry policies, whether the funds are raised in place, whether the project approval procedures are complete, and whether the projects are advanced on schedule, to promote the implementation of public health projects.
Pay attention to the construction of major epidemic treatment bases at the municipal level, review the construction of negative pressure wards and negative pressure operating rooms, whether infectious disease beds, normal beds, and peacetime and wartime beds meet the planning requirements, the reserve of hemodialysis machines in designated hospitals meets the standards, whether the reserves of medical supplies and protective materials are sufficient, and whether they are included in the unified management of the city's emergency material reserves, to help promote the construction of a hierarchical, layered and diverted urban infectious disease treatment network.

The Audit Office of Fujian Province announced that the Audit Bureau of Changle District focused on the management and use of the entire process of "purchase, sale and storage" (purchase, management and use) of medical consumables in the audit of the economic responsibilities of the main leading cadres of the district hospital during their term of office. By analyzing and comparing the data of consumables entering and leaving the warehouse and the details of charges, reviewing the minutes of the meeting of the hospital consumables management committee and the related ledgers of consumables management, and combining the consumables management situation, the secondary warehouses of seven consumables-using departments such as the catheter room and the laboratory were sampled. The hospital was examined to examine whether the inventory system has been established, whether it has been regularly counted according to regulations, whether the accounts are consistent with the actual situation, whether the medical consumables selection procedures are compliant, whether they are reused and overcharged, and whether the procedures and procedures for consumables entering and leaving the warehouse are not standardized. The refined management of medical consumables is strengthened to promote the safe and reasonable use of medical consumables.
The Audit Bureau of Shiyan City, Hubei Province stated that through industry research, special inspections, business training and the promotion of the establishment of a quality control center, the internal audit work is fully utilized to prevent risks, supervise the source and improve governance in the city's health and health system.
The Shiyan Audit Bureau has selected more than 10 internal auditors from the Taihe Hospital, the Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital and other units to participate in various audit projects through the "audit instead of training" method, effectively improving the professional knowledge and practical skills of internal auditors.
With the deepening of audit and medical rectification, a "multi-in-one" supervision system including external audit, internal audit, petition and reporting, and data supervision is being established and improved.

Audit has become a sharp weapon in the anti-corruption toolbox and has gradually played an irreplaceable role in the field of medical supervision. This year's National Audit Work Conference made it clear that medical anti-corruption is one of the key areas of concern, requiring the organization of national audit agencies to carry out audits of people's livelihood such as pension, medical care, and compulsory education, and to seriously investigate and deal with the "petty corruption" around the people, and strive to follow up audit supervision to the "last mile" of people's livelihood security.

In the past year, the audit department has dug deep into risk points in medical expenses, drug purchase and sale, medical reimbursement, and hospitalization, and can find and plug loopholes as early as possible. Audit departments in many places have conducted investigations on drug and consumable suppliers, and have verified that some hospitals have engaged in offline drug procurement, bundled sales of consumables, illegal external cooperation, middlemen earning the difference, bid rigging, and false bidding.

According to the Audit Bureau of Jin'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, the special audit investigation of the operation of public hospitals in Jin'an District focused on four aspects: First, it focused on the procurement of medicines, medical consumables and equipment, revealing problems such as illegal procurement, blind procurement, high-price procurement, tailor-made bidding terms, and long-term idleness of medical equipment; second, it focused on the operation of medical insurance funds, which are the "medical money" and "life-saving money" of the people, revealing the unreasonable use of drugs, repeated charges, unfounded charges, excessive examinations, and the illegal charging behaviors of hospitalization in medical institutions. It also paid attention to the timeliness of medical insurance fund allocation, the compliance of use, and the gap of medical insurance funds in the medical community, reflecting the impact of the reform of medical insurance payment methods on the operation of medical institutions; third, it focused on project construction, revealing problems such as dismembering projects to avoid bidding, illegal subcontracting, open bidding and secret determination, and specifying some materials and equipment reference brands during bidding; fourth, it focused on hospital risk prevention, revealing problems in hospital personnel deployment, incompatible job settings, drug management, medical resource allocation, and financial management.

At the same time, the coordination between multiple departments and auditing is also being strengthened to further enhance the professionalism of auditing in medical anti-corruption.
Recently, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection released an article titled "Continuously Deepen the Integration and Coordination of Discipline Inspection and Supervision and Audit Supervision", which mentioned that the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has kept a close eye on key areas, given priority to handling and thoroughly investigating the clues of problems transferred by the auditing authorities, and seriously investigated and dealt with a number of major cases in multiple fields including medicine.

The Audit Bureau of Xiangtan City, Hunan Province and the Xiangtan Municipal Health Commission organized 15 public hospitals above the second level in the city's health system to carry out internal cross-audits and explore new models of internal audits in key industry systems. The role of audits in the "economic physical examination" of the medical system is still accelerating, and more account loopholes will be accurately hit.
