China Medicine Valley has been selected as a "Chinese characteristic biopharmaceutical industry park", and the six centers directly under the National Medical Products Administration have been unveiled and put into operation. Capital Medical University has started construction, and 10 chain leading enterprises such as Pianzaihuang have flocked to accelerate the construction of a comprehensive biopharmaceutical cluster, with an industrial scale of 73.7 billion yuan.

Recently, the neon lights of the Pien Tze Huang Beijing Innovation and Research Base building located in the Xingchuang International Center in Daxing District began to light up. It is reported that Zhangzhou Pien Tze Huang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pien Tze Huang Company") is steadily advancing its plan to settle in Beijing Daxing and expand into the northern market. As a leader in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, Pianzaihuang Company mainly produces "Pianzaihuang" as its main product. Pien Tze Huang originated in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of nearly 500 years of inheritance. It is a nationally protected traditional Chinese medicine variety, and its traditional production techniques have been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. Entering Beijing Daxing will open up the northern market for Pien Tze Huang and help solve the problem of imbalanced sales between the north and south of Pien Tze Huang.

The layout of Daxing not only allows Pianzaihuang Company to enjoy the benefits of industrial policies, but also further drives the agglomeration of the life and health industry in Daxing District. At present, Daxing District is vigorously developing the life and health industry, and the biopharmaceutical industry base is known as the "Chinese Medicine Valley", gathering 12 national level testing and research institutions and more than 300 national high-tech enterprises. The biopharmaceutical industry base has initially formed a "3+5" industrial structure. Based on the three pillar industries of "vaccines, traditional Chinese medicine, and innovative equipment", it is accelerating the cultivation of five new future health tracks: cell and gene therapy (CGT), nucleic acid drugs, medical aesthetics, synthetic biomanufacturing, and innovative animal medicine. More than 600 products have been launched, including 4 new drugs of the first category, 15 national innovative medical devices, and multiple new products have won honors such as the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. The biopharmaceutical industry is moving towards technological, high-end, and intelligent development.

In addition, the six major centers of the National Medical Products Administration, namely the Drug Evaluation Center, the Food and Drug Audit and Inspection Center, the Drug Evaluation Center, the Medical Device Technical Evaluation Center, the Administrative Matters Acceptance Service and Complaint Reporting Center, and the Information Center, were unveiled and put into operation last year. The Beijing International Nucleic Acid Drug Innovation Center's Common Technology Platform, the largest nuclear acid drug research and development and production platform in Beijing, has officially opened to the public. The biopharmaceutical industry base continues to introduce high-level industry service institutions, accelerate the implementation of key project construction, build public service platforms and technology research and development platforms to support industrial development, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry.

In 2025, Daxing District will continue to strengthen the life and health industry, utilize the advantages of large campuses, build major platforms such as the Bioinformatics Intelligent Computing Center, promote the development of traditional medicine industry, expand high-quality industrial space, and create a bio pharmaceutical science and technology innovation manufacturing corridor that links the whole region.
