On August 7th, Huahai Pharmaceutical(600521) issued an announcement stating that the company recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for vonoprazan fumarate tablets issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The drug is a tablet, with specifications of 20mg and 10mg, and is registered as a Class 4 chemical drug.
Vonoprazan fumarate tablets are used for reflux esophagitis and can be used in combination with appropriate antibiotics to eradicate Helicobacter pylori. According to data from Menet.com, the domestic market sales of this drug are projected to reach approximately RMB 282 million in the first quarter of 2026. The company's R&D investment in the vonoprazan fumarate tablets project is approximately RMB 4.22 million.
In the first quarter of 2026, Huahai Pharmaceutical achieved revenue of 2.335 billion yuan and net profit attributable to the parent company of 404 million yuan.
