Both companies will facilitate career progression while advancing the life sciences industry
The European Laboratory Research and Innovation Group (ELRIG) UK has announced its partnership with SRG to support life sciences professionals in advancing their careers in drug discovery.
Both will help facilitate career progression as well as support the growth of the life sciences industry.
As part of the collaboration, ELRIG UK’s community will gain access to career opportunities, while SRG’s specialist talent solutions will be provided to organisations of all sizes to help grow the life sciences sector.
More specifically, early career professionals (ECPs) in industry and academia will be able to attend forums and networking events to meet new people and learn the skills needed to help them progress their careers in drug discovery.
The volunteer-led community for drug discovery unites academic and biopharma industry experts and thought leaders to share ideas and information through free-to-attend scientific meetings and conferences.
ELRIG UK’s main objective is to provide leading-edge knowledge to the life sciences community on an open-access basis, ranging from a variety of activities designed specifically for ECPs.
Powered by Impellam Group, SRG finds and provides the specialist skills needed to support biotech and pharmaceutical research, advance life sciences companies and ensure high-standard career prospects for candidates.
In collaboration, both companies will help life sciences professionals gain a more in-depth understanding of the industry, select the right career path and develop the tools needed to progress while advancing the drug discovery industry.
Sanj Kumar, chief executive officer, ELRIG UK, commented: “ELRIG will provide the opportunities for ECPs to connect, while SRG can help them to expand their skillset and progress in their careers. Building such networks is… imperative as they navigate the myriad of collaboration and career options ahead of them.”
Andrew Turner, managing director, SRG, said: “Our partnership… will focus on talent enablement and supporting the advancement of science professionals at each stage of their career… [and] create opportunities for future generations.”
