The 13th Health Asia & Pharma Asia International Exhibition & Conferences (Pharma Asia) was held at the Karachi Expo Center from August 22nd to August 24th 2017. As the leading global pharmaceutical and medical device B2B online platform, Ddu attended the exhibition introducing their new cross-border medical trade online method to Pakistan.
With advanced technology and expertise in the international medical trade industry, Ddu has provided a full range of solutions for thousands of global suppliers and buyers to build and develop communication channels and expand international business opportunities.
At the exhibition, a multitude of visitors approached the Ddu both for consultation. Tahir Zeb Khan, general manager of SVA Ruba, a Pakistani medical plastic supplier said: “I heard about Alibaba when I was in China but Ddu specializes in medical trade, making it much more suitable for my company. I found it to be trouble-free and very practical the first time I used it.”
With the help of Ddu staff, Tariq Saleem Faridi from the management team of Saints Associates (a Pakistan medical device trader) searched for a LX-6 slit lamp, an ophthalmic instrument, and posted his RFQ on site. His response to the RFQ results was that Ddu’s searching is very precise, since he knows how difficult it is to find the ideal products, even though he spends hours at exhibitions, search through every booth”.
Industry analysts believe that Pakistan, as one of the critical locations of the Belt and Road Initiative, serves as a significant orientation and foothold for China to promote the initiative westwards. Attending the largest and most comprehensive medical exhibition in Pakistan, Ddu has opened channels for domestic medical companies in order to boost the co-operation between Chinese medical companies and Pakistani ones.
According to the management of Ddu the exhibition allowed them to learn more about the development of the medical industry in Pakistan though face-to-face communication with Pakistani clients and state that they will keep up with further developments in order to continuously improve the development of the cross-border medical trade in China.
